Kasen Lahey, a fifth grader at Moscow Grade School, became “Principal for an hour" . Kasen instructed the 2nd and 3rd graders in a successful game of dodge ball. Kasen was an amazing asset to me as we substituted for PE during his hour! Thanks Kasen, you were an awesome leader!

Allyson Evans, a second grader at Moscow Grade School, became “Principal for an hour" . Allyson Evans earned this prestigious award this year for excellent character and academic excellence.


David Peters, a third grader at Moscow Grade School, became “Principal for an hour" . David Peters earned this prestigious award for the second time this year for excellent character and academic excellence.


All Junior HIgh and High School Track Athletes: Please arrive at the school between 7:00 - 7:15 am tomorrow, Wednesday, May 10th. The bus will leave at 7:30 am. JH athletes will turn in their uniform tomorrow so please bring clothes to change into. Good Luck Wildcats!!!

The Grade School fun day at the football field and new gym at the high school will begin at 1:30. Parents are welcome to attend the festivities.

The Moscow Preschool hosted their annual Mother Preschool Tea, May 4th at 10:45. The preschoolers enjoyed honoring their mothers with a painted pot, flower, and a footprint butterfly.

Summer school is right around the corner. We have 5 weeks this year for graded K-8 (grade during the 22-23 school year.) Please let Mrs. Wester know if your child(ren) need to ride the bus.


Attention 4th and 5th grade parents and students! Please note that there was an error in the daily bulletin regarding the upcoming field trip to the Badlands. The correct date for the field trip is May 4th, not May 3rd as previously stated. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused.

During our monthly assembly, April 12th, we highlighted the academic and social emotional successes, including top-performing students and staff members. The students who were recognized in each class were Salvador Moran, Jehanny Torres, Guadalupe Moran, Gwen Leija, Yamile Torres, David Peters, Emely Tarbet, Jenna Crawford, Fabian Flores and Gary Dahle. The Student of the Month for exhibiting "Warrior" behavior was Mack Tarbet. In addition, we recognized support staff, Angelica Erives for going above and beyond and certified staff Natasha Shively. We appreciate all their hard work and dedication to USD 209.
